Upa Devathas

As it is common with other temples of Kerala the following Upa-devatha temples are maintained in the temple compound.

  • 1. Bhadrakali Temple
  • 2. Yakshi Temple
  • 3. Naga Devathas
  • 4. Brahma Rekshas
  • 5. Maha Ganapathy. ( Pancha Mugha Maha Ganapathy)

The Pancha Mukha Maha Ganapathy upa devata of Vanchimoottil Temple is very unique. The Idol has five Heads and four Hands. This form of Sree Maha Ganapathy is very rare and is present in one more Temple at North- Malabar.
